- The Early Bath Sweepstakes competition will consist of two separate parts. The first part will operate between October 2, 2004 and the end of the football season in May on the designated weekends. The second part will be based on red cards collected throughout the entire 2004 to 2005 football season.
- The designated dates of competition are the weekends of October 2 2004, November 27 2004, February 12 2005, March 5 2005 and April 23 2005.
- The promoters decision is final.
- A fee of £10 ($15) will allow a competitor to have a team for the 5 designated weekends for games during the season. A fee of £2 ($3) will allow a competitor to have a team for one game. Payment can be made by submitting cash or a cheque to BOLSA, c/o MWPC, Unit 4, 7 Canal Road, Hereford, HR1 2EA. Credit card payments can be made on the www.bolsa-hufc.com website using Netsounds payment ordering system.
- A fee of £5 ($5) will allow a competitor to have a team for the season-long competition
- Participants will be allowed to choose their team on a first come, first served basis.
- The winner for each game on a designated weekend will be based on the first player to be sent off from teams in the Premiership, Football League, Conference and Scottish Football League. The time will be based on information on the www.bbc.co.uk website. For a team to be eligible they must play on the Friday, Saturday Sunday or Monday of the designated weekends.
- If two (or more) players from separate teams are sent off at the same time and this corresponds to the fastest time for that weekend then the prize will be split between the competitors who have chosen those teams.
- The prize for each game will be £100 ($150).
- The winners from each game will be published on the www.hu-fc.co.uk and www.bolsa-hufc.com websites and will be available by post upon request provided a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed. Updates will also be provided on the Official Hereford United website forum.
- If the first player to be sent off in any given designated week plays for a team who do not have an assigned competitor then half of the weekly prize will roll over to the next designated weekend.
- The promoter does not accept responsibility if a club does not play on a weekend due to inclement weather conditions or any other unforeseen circumstances
- A comprehensive listing of the teams and the entrant who has chosen them will be detailed on the BOLSA website at www.bolsa-hufc.com and will be available, by post, from BOLSA, c/o MWPC, 98 Widemarsh Street, Hereford, HR4 9PG provided a stamped addressed envelope is enclosed.
- The winners will be notified by telephone, email, fax or post.
- The winner of the season-long competition will be the team that has the most red cards on a card-per-gamebasis. For example in the 2003-2004 season Huddersfield Town had 13 red cards in 46 games representing a record of 0.283 cards per game.
- All red cards awarded to a team in league matches will count towards the end of season total. Any red cards removed on appeal will not register for the purposes of the Early Bath competition.
- The prize for the season long competition will be £150 or $150 depending on the prize-winners entrance fee.
- An additional prize £100 ($100) will be awarded to any teams who receive no red cards in the 2004 to 2005 season. If more than one team has no red cards then the prize will be divided between those teams.
- Entries to the Early Bath Sweepstakes are limited to persons aged 16 or over.
